The Ammo Store Project

The Ammo store is a redundant building in Hall Leys Park close to the bowling green and the boating lake. Owned by Derbyshire Dales District Council and last used as a mess room, it has been declared is surplus to requirements. We have identified this building as the ideal space for a community workshop facility which could be used by local artists and craftpeople as a focus for community based actitivities and events. Matlock Live supports the Ammo Store Project and would be interested to hear from local artists and groups with ideas for the use of the building.
